18K gold sheet making process , faire un plané en or 18 carats

The gold, silver and copper are melted a first time and the resulting ingot is laminated to the thinner gauge on my mill.
The resulting sheet is then cut into small paillons and remelted a second time to ensure that the mix is homogeneous. The second ingot is laminated down to 1.5mm. L'or, l'argent et le cuivre sont fondus une première fois et le lingot obtenu est laminé au réglage le plus fin du laminoir. Le plané obtenu est coupé en petits paillons et refondu pour être sûr que le mélange est homogène. Le deuxième lingot est laminé jusqu'à 15/10mm.
