First, I have created this forged ring with a heavy texture. Then to turn it into an anticlastic form I made myself a makeshift hammer using a piece of nylon bought in Canton Road, Mong Kok. The sinusodial stake is made out of a ring mandrel that I have bent several times. I completed the tooling with 2 lathed brass shafts to hammer the ring perfectly round.
Je construis d'abord un anneau texturé. Pour lui donner cette forme anticlinale, je me suis fait un marteau avec tête en nylon pour ne pas marquer le métal. L'outil sinusoïdal est fait à partir d'un mandrin pour bague que j'ai cintré plusieurs fois. Pour parfaire la forme en trompette de la bague, j'utilise 2 cylindres arrondis en laiton.
