Wave bangle, bracelet en forme de vague

I casted a long silver bar in my ingot mould then planished it on the anvil and with the rollling mill (8x300x2.5mm). I used a bronze shaft mounted on my vice to form each curve by hand. Each time I had to bend the metal, annealing was required to keep it soft and workable.

A partir d’un long lingot que j’ai aplani sur l’enclume, j’ai laminé une longue bande d’argent (8x300x2.5mm). J’ai ensuite formé à la main chaque courbe en me servant d’un axe fixé sur mon étau. Après chaque courbe, je recuis le métal pour le rendre malléable.

Silver cross, croix en argent

I did a commissioned cross today for my friend Jonathan.
I started by sand casting a rough form. On the anvil I refined the proportions and finally finished it with the file.
The inner cross is done with a chisel.

J’ai créé cette croix pour Jonathan. J’ai commencé par couler une forme brute dans un moule au sable. Je l’ai forgé pour lui donner forme et affiné le travail à la lime. La petite croix du milieu est ciselée.
